Tottenham star Richarlison was a huge hit for Brazil during the World Cup in Qatar after scoring twice in their opening Group G fixture against Serbia. The Spurs summer signing marked his impressive campaign in the Middle East with a huge tattoo on his back which features himself, Neymar and Ronaldo Nazario.
The 25-year-old scored three times in total for his nation during the tournament before Brazil were knocked out of the quarter-finals on penalties. Richarlison scored a sensational scissor kick goal against Serbia and later got his teammates and manager Tite to copy his famous pigeon celebration later in the tournament after scoring against South Korea in the round of 16.
Richarlison's tattoo gesture does not appear to have impressed Brazil star Neymar, who is said to have sent the Spurs forward a huge sum of money to have his face removed from it. Many fans were shocked to see the Tottenham star's new ink and it seems he may now have to change a huge piece of it.
Neymar has sent his compatriot £26,000 to get his face removed from the tattoo, according to Globo Sport. Richarlison has now returned to England ahead of the resumption of the Premier League on Boxing Day.
The Spurs forward is set to be out of action for at least a month after suffering a hamstring injury whilst away with Brazil in Qatar. After getting injured in the warm-up, the striker played on through the pain against Croatia - lasting 84 minutes before being replaced by Pedro with the Selecao eventually being knocked out after a shock penalty shootout defeat.
