Harry Kane breaks silence after missing decisive World Cup Penalty

England captain and Tottenham star, Harry Kane has come out to apologize to England fans after he missed a decisive penalty against France yesterday.

England was losing 2 goals to 1 when Mason Mount won a penalty for England in the 82nd minute.

After scoring a penalty already, Harry Kane couldn't beat Hugo Lloris a second time. England was knocked out since they failed to find an equalizer.

Harry Kane broke the silence and penned a heartfelt apology to England fans.

His words:

"Absolutely gutted. We’ve given it everything and it’s come down to a small detail which I take responsibility for. There’s no hiding from it, it hurts and it’ll take some time to get over it but that’s part of sport. 

Now it’s about using the experience to be mentally and physically stronger for the next challenge. Thanks for all the support throughout the tournament - it means a lot. 🦁".
