FIFA World Cup: Croatia sends Brazil packing from Qatar

The Brazilian national team will be heading home after last world cup finalists, Croatia knocked them out in a fierce Quater finals battle.

Brazil failed to convert some juicy chances in regular time and had the match headed to extra time.

In the first half of extra time, Neymar scored a well-worked goal. We all thought the game was done for but Croatia cooked up a shocking equalizer, taking the game to penalties.

Croatia scored their first kick while Brazil's effort was saved.

Croatia went on to score their next two. Marquinhos missed Brazil's 2nd, sending Brazil out of the tournament.

The game ended 4:2 in penalties. Croatia will face the winners of the tie between Argentina and the Netherlands later today.
