Paris Saint-Germain’s forward player, Lionel Messi has written his name in the history books of the UEFA Champions League.
The Argentine was on the score sheet for PSG in their second group game against Maccabi Haifa on match day 2 at the Parc De Prince on Wednesday, September 14th, 2022.
Messi surpassed Cristiano Ronaldo’s record of having scored against more teams than any other player in Champions League history.
Both players had scored against 38 teams heading into the game, Messi has now scored against 39 teams.
