The 35-year old former Barnsley, Rotherham and
Stockport County player has joined the Lions as they
prepare for their third season in the National League.
Odejayi was a youth player at Bristol City before signing
a pro contract at Ashton Gate.
After a loan spell at Forest Green Rovers the striker
signed for them full-time in 2002/03 season and made
thirty-eight appearances, scoring 13 goals, before he
moved on to Cheltenham Town in 2003.
He notched 30 goals in 148 appearances for
Cheltenham before moving on to Barnsley in 2007,
Odejayi played seventy-four games for the Tykes
scoring 4 times.
Born in Ibadan, Kayode made his debut for the Super
Eagles in their 1-1 draw with Austria in an international
friendly in May 2008, he replaced Nwankwo Kanu in the
84th minute.
